Test preparation
- 1Fasting: 10–12 hours of overnight fasting required. Water is allowed.
- 2Hydration: Drink normal amounts of water; avoid alcohol for 24 hours before collection.
- 3Medication: Continue your usual prescriptions unless your doctor advises otherwise. Mention all medicines to the phlebotomist.
- 4Timing: Morning slots (6–9 AM) are recommended for fasting tests.
